Meet The Founders
We are Camille and Jeff, spouses, parents, professionals and visionaries searching for a change in lifestyle. Oregon is our unique solution, providing home designs with a sense of purpose, habitats that encourage a slow and stress free pace, connected to nature. Because we believe a home should be a sanctuary, a peaceful space that instills harmony and well being.
Camille Charland Perez - bio
Camille founded salt+pepper co. in 2016, an interior design firm specializing in large scale renovations and new construction. Feature appearances in various media followed, including Apartment Therapy, Silo 57, les idées de ma maison, Urbania, publications in local newspapers and various collaborations including Amazon, Lexus and Canadian Tire. These early successes led to television shows in 2019 and 2020, where she hosted and was lead designer for two French Canadian series Rénover pour louer (CASA TV) and Mini chalet: grandeur natuer (TVA).
Our Mission
Inspired by the West Coast way of life, we create upscale house plans and design packages that simplify the process of building. Our goal is to provide our clients with a meaningful experience in building their own distinct home, one that expresses a thoughtful and authentic approach to day to day living. Each house plan is available in limited quantities to ensure uniqueness.
Authenticity
We strive to bring authenticity to each element of our work whether it be our designs, rooted in the environment, or the all-natural products we select. Our homes, as an expression of our selves, can reflect our own experience of authenticity.
Meaningfulness
We created Oregon in order to live and promote an alternative lifestyle. Everything we do is aligned with that vision. When we design a home, we bear in mind who it is meant for and what its purpose is. We envision a home you will be together in with the people you love, a home you are always eager to return to.
